Thinking about pulling the trigger on some Dovers in 606 last online, but having never tried them on I'm curious about sizing. Free returns, so there's no real risk if I get the wrong size, but I want to improve my odds. I wear 7.5E C&J 337, 363 and 325 lasts, with 325 last on the Coniston a particularly good fit, while the othe I understand that EG tends to run smaller, so I'm thinking I'm either an 8E or 8.5E
Since I'm literally wearing a 606 Dover on one foot and a 202 Dover on the other foot right now, I'll offer my experiences. . Both are holding the body of my foot perfectly and have plenty of room for toe movement. The 202 is more rounded in the toe box than the 606

I have landed on 8.5E for EG lasts and now own boots in 202 and 64 in addition to the Dovers. I was surprised that the unlined shoes didn't require any change to the sizing especially as I am wearing very lightweight socks.

For C&J I wear 8 for the 341 and 348 lasts. I find the 325 a little short in 8 so wear 8.5 (with thick socks).

I’m interested in the unlined Dover. Does anyone go down a half size or a width for these or are they made a bit slimmer to deal with the lack of lining? Which retailers stock these?
New 606 Unlined Dovers arrived today. Glad I went with the same sizing I use for 202 and 64 Galways. Even wearing thin socks they fit perfectly.

As I noted before, these came from @steveyoo1983 at Gentlemens Footwear. Great experience. Highly recommended.

8E as you should size-up half a size from standard UK sizes (e.g. CJ, JLP)--an 8.5E would be huge on you.

Guys, need some advise. Planning to pull the trigger on the Chelsea's. I wear a UK8E on the 888 last and UK7.5E on the 202 last. Any idea what I would wear for the 82 last?

I also wear:
UK7.5E for Carmina Rain last and 41.5 for the Vass F last

I'd go 8E same as 888.

Hm, 7.5E, because the sole is stiff when new and while bend better after you actually wear it outside the shop. Never buy shoes that is too tight from the get go, they will never loosen up enough, cause you don’t want to wear them.
Late on the response, but here you go. Excuse the jeans, working from home currently. 202 on the left, 888 on the right.

Thank you guys! Like you guys' advice/photo, I have decided to go for UK7.5. I do not think I will wear often if I already feel really tight in UK7 size. And after I see your v-gap, I think it's absolutely no-go for UK7.

Hello guys, need some advice here:
I'm interested in buying an Edward Green Dover in 606 last. What size should I pick? Carmina oxfords in UK 9, Rain last fit me pretty well.
Thanks!
