After some wear and just adding neutral cream, these darkened a little to look like the usual dark oak. They really soaked up the cream...maybe it was stuck on display or a warehouse for awhile.

I've been spending sometime looking at the Edward Green Harrogate Suede and Leather Longwing Brogue for Brooks Brothers. It appears this same shoe was made for RL at one time and called the Brooksville. Not sure if this will be my next Edward Green purchase but I think it would make a great casual shoe.

I like the Malvern as well and it's another one to consider but I'm not entirely sure if I could go for the green suede version that Brooks Brothers carries.

A little after the fact, but here's my latest. Really digging these EG staples of late.

I'll probably get another strap, but for now this will do. The important bits of red are on the dial anyways.

I really like the brogue punching on the toes on these. Did you get them made or is this a new pattern for Malverns?

You know me so well. Stock Galways, stock Chelseas, and stock Inverness's.

I guess I'll just have to try harder that's all. LOL

    I'd highly recommend it.

I'm very happy that I finally pulled the trigger.
