EG crup blows Alden and RL out of the water IMO. I wish EG had more shell shades though. Perhaps #4 shell will reappear here one day, lol. Cheers.

Actually mine is on the Dainite sole. It just so happens the Blue was available and after all it did match the watch. LOL

Mine are also on Dainite... which is why I probably haven't worn them yet (I find leather soled shoes more comfortable) and I have a pair of cigar LWB that are pretty close.

So glad my wife prefers a TH than a Rolex since the difference can be put to "socks"

Work has been a little bonkers plus I had a bout of SF fatigue. :embar:

I was able to see a hallifax in gold delepre today, I am not big on the delepre leather but that halifax has overtaken thr nevis on my want list. Hillary was great answered a lot of questions for me so it was nice to hear. Word is they are working on a new more robust last.

Glad to see you back and posting. So what did you think about the delepre leather?

Very supple, looked pretty good however I question the durability of the leather. I much prefer the crust leather. I also did not care for the 890 last at all. I was able to learn that due to quality leather shortages EG gets fewer shoes per skin thus increasing prices.

I was able to see a full swatch book with all of the Utah and Willow offerings. Also it was nice to see a full suede swatch selection, i think nutmeg looked awesome. The halifax I saw was on the 202 and it looked awesome.

If it was an old swatch book, it would have a few swatches that are not currently available, which is quite typical.
