So which versions of the Galway did you order?
boring ones...I think of these two as Yin & Yang
staple requirement of Dark Oak & Walnut CC
Edwardian & Almond CC
storm welt w/ natural edge trim
double leather sole
I don't consider them boring. I still consider the Dark Oak and CC which was my first one my favorite version. As for your second choice, whenever and it's often I've considered getting a lighter colored boot this is the first one I think of. In fact the only reason I probably didn't get it is because I have 3 Galways already. However this wouldn't preclude me from getting it in the future, it's just I figured it was time to take a breather and get a few shoes first.
I thought you had more than me? Interesting when you're on Andrew isn't, and vice versa
The latter sounds interesting. I have a full almond CC and it's a great leather.
Now that's too funny. Oh, how I wish.
yeah, just messing around. I am very excited for then. The second being a bit more of a unique makeup then the first, but that dark oak & walnut Galway is kind of the black chelsea of boots
i am thinking it will makeup quite nicely. I will certainly post some pics once the are in hand.
Did someone say Derwent? If you're feeling blue, @dddrees has one for you...
Yep, I'd agree. It certainly sets the standard as far as I am concerned.
And here's the Blue!!!!
Great choices - both.
Nice Derwent!! The Derwent in burgundy shell on the 202 (for me, in a narrow width) and on Dainite would be a masterful casual shoe. It is on my "to-get" list.
I still like the nightshade Galway but having two already I believe the halifax in nightshade would be amazing.
Actually mine is on the Dainite sole. It just so happens the Blue was available and after all it did match the watch. LOL
Alright, guys. I really do not need to be seeing this.
