Check out this pair.
Gotcha. Thanks. I did see them while trolling eBay last night.
If not this one I would go with something in a mink or close colored shaft. The bottom could be CC on the 64 Last, or DOAK and the 82 Last.
That or my Rosewood CC boot.
Or the Nevis.
Or the Almond or Edwardian boot.
Well it is still in the early stages of planning but it could be
Walnut country calf plus mocha suede shearling top
All walnut country calf with or without shearling.
I'm kind of iffy on the Shearling. It looks nice when new and everything, but the fact that it's only on the shaft and I don't get the impression it ages or wears well has me a bit hesitant.
I can live without shearling for exactly the same reasons you stated.
nephew, looking good in your ct
I have the black Chelsea and a Walnut CC Dover. You will not be disappointed. I happen to also have the burgundy Inverness, and would give it a hearty endorsement.
The burgundy Inverness is probably one of the first EGs I first saw and wanted. So it's been on my list for awhile.
UK 10F sale Asquith anyone?
This isn't Edward Green is it?
"Made in Italy"
The Made in Italy in the description should tell you that the shoe isn't made by Edward Green. To my knowledge all Edward Green shoes are made in England.
That's probably Sasseti?
That is the Sassetti Passo, available for $395 at Nordstrom. If you buy the Rlpl version, called the Denver, expect to pay $1250 for the same exact shoe. @Namor did an analysis of this awhile back
