    Has all the markings of the 606. Just ask someone at Porter to look inside the shoe (or on box) and read you the number.

    Nice! Does the CC leather develop much of a patina over time compared to the usual type of leather?

    This would be a great casual shoe for rainy days and EG shoes with Dainite soles are rare. If I didn't already own a special-order Dover (Edwardian antique) with a York(?) sole, a burgundy pebble grain blucher with Dainite soles from AS/Brooks Brothers, and a Sutor Mantellassi split toe blucher in the equivalent of dark oak, I would jump on this. In fact, if I could sell all three pairs and raise enough money to buy these, I'd consolidate!

    Pretty sure the mr porter walnut cc dover is on 606.

    That's cause we always have to wait for the good stuff! It's cool to order something, then the feeling wears off after about the first week of waiting...haha. I wish there was something I wanted that I could get some instant gratification. I have to stop myself from just buying for the sale of buying when that happens.
