The Halifax look great. Had my first chance to wear my DOak Chelseas today - scored from the recent sale in which Malford of London graciously acted as proxy. Love these - didn't truly appreciate them until they were on foot. Most unboring boring shoe I've owned. Unfortunately I know I'm now going to get hooked.

I have an MTO going right now on 202. I am very eager to see them but it will still be quite a few months...

Thanks and thanks all ^. I would say Galway but I need to clear out some boots before I can justify more. The real weakness in my rotation is derbys. So a Dover may be in order. You will get credit if I go that route!

In addition to shipping both ways, EG has confirmed that the quote also includes arranging for the shoes to be retrieved from one's home/work and dealing with all customs paperwork. Basically a no-hassle transaction. I live in the US.

They look wonderful! [IMG] May I ask what last they're on?

By the way guys, I thought about doing a Dover MTO before SkoAB's price adjustment. As I mentioned earlier, I ain't the biggest fan of chiseled lasts and the Dover on the 606 isn't that appeling to me. Don't get me wrong, I love the makeup, but as I've said before: I'm more fond of rounder lasts.

I actually saw Meermin's split toe derby on the Hiro last, which I found appealing. Although, I have never handled a Meermin shoe before, but does anyone of you guys know which one of EG's lasts would be the equivalent to Meermin's Hiro?

This is the Meermin derby I'm talking about: http://meermin.es/articulo.php?idArt=4137#
