I'm not sure the answer of your question, but a well known retailer of EG shoes recently told me that EG just switched the maker of some of its leathers - last 6-8 months. Not sure if all calf leathers or just some. Will post pics some time this week - took delivery of pair of Canterbury's in Burnt Pine and they look very, very close to DOAK. Could pass for DOAK to me and I have quite a few pairs of DOAK.

Yes, I noticed too that Burnt Pine is almost same color/shade is Daok .. You can find the dark shades of burnt pine looking same as doak and light shades of doak looking as burnt pine .. especially after a few coats of medium brown saphir cream

A few zug photos, also @jhcam8 was spot on with sizing in terms of one half size larger and one width up vs 202 / 82. I went with my size in 202 / 82 and this boot fits significantly smaller than both pairs. Still works with thin dress sock but not really sock I would wear with a boot of this type. Like others said, a bit less red than photos would indicate

you got a size 10F? Sorry to hear they are slightly snug. Shouldn't you have gone for a 10.5?

    Thanks!

Yeah should have gone 10 / 10.5F though I was under impression when ordering that 64 last fits big as some others have mentioned in this thread

I too was a bit surprised with the sizing on the 64 last, although they're not too bad size wise for me.

    Nice pictures by the way.

So these are the same size as your 202/82 and they are too snug?

I like the F width on these, too. My CC Galways are F width as well.

Mine fit a little snug as well but I went up a width on mine. It is a little tight across the vamp/instep but toes and heel are good. I anticipated it fitting bigger than what it is, I also figure that they will stretch a bit once properly broken in.

    Thanks!

Keeping them, they aren't going to see any snow or cold anyways

I have been looking at a pair of Chelseas in Doak for a bit now. The upcoming price increase at Skoaktiebolaget convinced me to go ahead and get a pair now. Small potatoes for many here, but I look forward to my second pair of EGs this month.
