    @thebeebs HeHe .. Yeah .. Must be due to a "leather dots" all over and a similar color..

    Called the Jermyn store yesterday, wanted to order a Walnut/Mink Galway with shearling I saw in their catalogue online, however they informed me they don't stock it nor they will, and it has to be ordered at 1,000 GBP/ 1,700$, no VAT deduction for me.

    They will start receiving a Galway Rosewood country in October priced at 850 GBP, though one can purchase it cheaper here right now:

    Wow, I'm quite surprised about the reluctance towards suede oxford brogues. To me they seem like a very classic, almost conservative shoe...

    Looking great! which colour is that? And I don't think a full brogue like the Malvern would be any less versatile :smarmy:

    Nice. Would be sweet if we at some point could get a GMTO going, though I reckon it'll be uphill after the Nevis MTO-spamming. And moreover I would probably need F-width on the 888 or 82 :confused:

    I share the reluctance of those on this thread. IMO, suede is better suited for derbies and casual boot styles.

    Hey, it's what all the top pimps are wearing! [​IMG] Pimps must dress very differently indeed in certain spots. I've been told my black and grey Vass spectators are pimp shoes as well. If I ever decide on a change in profession, I am footwear-ready. [​IMG]

    I don't own a pair of suede oxfords, but they are on the list.

    Good info! I know nothing about that trade but I'm here to learn :) Seams that I should but a pair of spectators as well so I'm safe when I make the career switch. Or maybe I should just sell the suede oxfords...hard choices, think I need to ask my GF :D

    the only suede shoe I couldnt wear would be any combination of balmoral and wingtip*
