According to Steven at Leffot there are no plans to discontinue the 888 (at this point).

Just ordered the Mahogany CC Nevis boot - thanks guys for putting this together. I was definitely a latecomer to this order.

Any interest in doing an oxford brogue like the Malvern or Inverness in suede? I'm thinking something like mink or coffee, or even some shade of blue with natural sole edges…

    Cheers,

Suede oxfords confuse me, I don't know why but I just cannot wrap my head around the idea. Not that they wouldn't look good, I just wouldn't really know what to pair them with :embar:

Hmm, pretty much anything? Chinos, jeans and even suits? Don't know, I just have a thing for suede, and actually think an oxford suede brogue would be wonderfully versatile, especially on the 82 or 888. A derby suede brogue on the other hand would be too casual for me, but then again I pretty much despise any derby shoe – I guess because all crappy shoes trying to look sleek somehow have derby closures

I love suede as well mostly on chukkas and derbies. The bal is formal but the suede is informal....I saw a mole suede bal that looked incredible but I would rather rock a calf version just me.
