Where are you getting $1825? I see $1625.

And if they are $1625, doesn't that put it in the range of a regular EG MTO in calf?

An acquaintance of mine recently told me he paid $2,200 for an MTO whiskey shell monk with trees. He said it was thru Leathersoul. However, in my experience, Leather soul is $100 - $200 higher than some other retailers that offer the MTO service.

Cordovans for $1625 and chelseas for $1065.

    Change shipping to Canada.

Kind of weird. They lower the base price for Canadians, but then charge $20 shipping + duties.

I am not 100% positive but I do not believe the surcharge is that much higher for St.C's.

    It applies to all products.

Drake's grenadine ties are $140 for Canadians, but $155 for US (all prices in US dollars).

I think Porter is trying to make up for the shipping cost or currency disparity.

If I were you, I'd call them up and ask for the Canadian pricing. If they can absorb the loss for international buyers, they can absorb for US ones too.

I totally believe what you are telling us. It just seems like a curious policy..... That was the reason for the "puzzled" emoticon.

    Guys,

I am planning to order EG Falkirk but I have not decided which color. I am debating between Chestnut and Hazel. Anybody has shoes in these color? Care to make recommendation?
Hey @stevent I believe you had shoes in hazel antique. What do you think of it?

I liked it, I think Hazel is more a lighter brown while chestnut has a bit of orange in it? Though I would probably take gold delapre over both as the leather felt richer in person
