I wasn't speaking for Patrik, I was being facetious because there is so much crap floating around about this MTO. Sorry.

I disagree. Is there really that much EG conversation on a daily basis that there needs to be separate threads? Why not just discussing everything EG in one place. I personally hate conversations that span over multiple threads

I agree with this in principle. However, when trying to get parties to commit to an MTO (or agree on specs for one), I think a separate thread and/or group messaging works quite well. It worked for the all Gorse/Zug adventure. Good luck.

The thing with spreadsheet only works when we know who is interested in certain project and when we are trying to narrow requirements down. However posting MTO ideas in a thread gives gives an visibility and opportunity to everyone on the forum to chime in and join.
I think the problem is that Brandy Willow calf is essentially summer color, not that appealing for a boots.

Some people feel that brouguing is not appropriate on willow calf. The way I see it the safest bet is another Dover so if you are interested in Dover let your voice be heard.

Have to agree with this. The thread has only had Galway and Dover GMTOs take off the last few months if I'm correct? Alderley in Delapre and Shannon VIII pre-orders filled up very nicely too though. But my vote will be for the Dover. Problem with Nevis is that a) it's expensive, the most expensive of all EG models b) will we be able to unite in regards of the 606 vs. 202 last?

If we can agree on the model I'm happy to move this conversation into our affiliate thread.

I'm going to mention (because it was brought up) that Steve (love him, great guy) has a very large advantage with his thread, and that is that he basically only carries one brand. In our thread we have discussions going on regarding GMTOs from EG, EB, G&G, Carmina, it can get a little overwhelming. But I do understand that there is some concern about that this thread has become a lot about organizing GMTOs, but at least these days the thread is bustling with activity, this was not the case a year ago. IMO that's positive.

Definitely interested if the Dover is on the 202. Maybe if on the 606.

We didn't even get to the sole yet. Leather will be Brandy Willow. Pic was posted a couple pages ago.

Not to mention boots are more likely to be split by the sole options as well.

I'm fine with the Dover, double leather (202 or 606).
