1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

What was the quote? It's a stock style, right?

    That should be really nice!

Probably old news here, but a quick cell phone pic of the new EG last from the Robert Jones EG trunk show today:

It was right around $950. Not quite the same money as the EG but close enough for me to think about it.

    Thanks for sharing Roger.

So more of a chiseled toe I guess?

Yep - a bit more angular than the 888.

On its own the 890 looks basically indistinguishable from the 89 last. I'd be interested in a side by side comparison between the 890, 89, 888 and perhaps an 808 for good measure. Cheers.

A bit sleeker and (I know I'll get killed for this...) without that slight "blobbyness" of 888.

Actually reminds me of the Vass U. I don't think the 89 is as chiseled as the 890 as the slope is softer with the former: [IMG]

i think 606 is pretty sleek as well. comparing 606 to 202 is kind of an injustice, 606 is far sleeker, the same way mh71 is far sleeker than its round counterpart in gg06

Is that Oundle (I assume that's still the name for this model) in Edwardian or Maple?

Did Robert Jones offer any special promotions as part of the trunk show?
