1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

First impression on the Chelsea in Doak on the 82. Conservative, classy, and sleek. I have a couple of pairs of Gallways on the 82 but in D, I'm very glad these where in E however. They're snug but not overly so, so the extra width here was helpful for me. I'm not certain how many more Dark Oak shoes I'll get but it's not hard to imagine that I could get a couple more. It has character and since they can vary from shoe to shoe I can see where I won't tire of it too easily. Overall I'm very happy and I need to think now about making plans to get another Chelsea but this time in Black. But I'm very pleased how they look on the 82 Last. Thanks to @Leaves and the other folks at Skoaktiebolaget another smooth and fabulous transaction.

Another shameless plug for the Rosewood CC Dover and Nevis.

Unfortunately the light here is pretty bad right now as the weather is terrible. Pictures to follow. But hey, I'm sure they wouldn't interest you anyways, they're shoes and not boots. LOL

There is little hope for my G width GMTO, but i don't mind keeping tabs on anyone who is interested in an E width GMTO for this make-up. I can always be the 7th order if this even gets off the ground. Here are my proposed specs (so far):

    Dover on the 606 last
    rosewood country calf leather

    What say you gents?

    I'd prefer this...

I don't know about another dover though. I love it but 3 dovers and a hove seems a bit excessive.

Or how about a harrogate in the 202 or 82 last? I think you had an awesome carmina longwing in country grain before but they no longer make that color. Rosewood lwb might be even better and I think it would give you something different in your stock lineup.

Or a rosewood Westminster on danite.

Or just go something crazy like the Herrick lol.
