Need your help.

If I am normally Edward Green size 9.5/10 in Chelsea Oxfords.. Do you think I would be OK with the size 9/9.5 when it comes to a Galway on 64 last? I read somewhere here that their boots runs/feel a bit large compared to their shoes ..

I am not in a position to try them on first.

Stay with your Chelsea size.

Nikola if you size down .5 I would go up a width. For me* a 8.5 UK D fits similarly to a 8.0 E.

Yes, thank you sevenfoldtieguy and bespoken, I just figured it out.

The one I found are definitely half size smaller from what I need. I am fishing for a deal, rather than just chewing the 1,500$ .. I have time until November to find them, hope something will pop up in my size at 30-40% off the MSRP.

Please excuse the sweatpants...BB Galway on the 82 last

1000

Being an 8.5 TTS, 8 Alden Barrie, 7.5UK Carmina, etc. I fully expected the 8E to fit me but I have to say they are more snug than I expected. The widest part of my foot is forward of the widest part of the boot and my big toe is basically touching the front of the boot. I think I need at least another half size...these seems incongruous with all I have read and all advice received...hhhmmm

Bummer. You just never know. Trial and error is pretty expensive - I'm an expert. :embar:

thinking about selling my Galways. if anyone is interested pm me. not sure i can be bothered with the whole ebay thing. they're black calf on dainite. 7F. 606 last.

the 7F in the 202 fits me perfectly. but with the 606 i have a bit too much room in the heel

its a real shame. payed over £1000 to have them made.

still. you live and learn.

Guys,

I just lost my mind over these:

Sent the e-mail to Jermyn Store to order them on 202 last. They appear to be available only on 82 last in their catalogue, but in these photos they are on my favorite 202. What do you think?

Elmsley in Burnt Pine, 202 last:
