1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

The Braemar is sick! Is it the same as the Falkirk with a thistle on the side on a different last? I concur; something besides Galways and Dovers.

As an aside, for wear with a suit and tie or the equivalent, I think the Shannon may be slightly better than the Galway. However, I prefer an oxford shoe to a Shannon boot.

Cheers fellows. I'm glad there is more regular activity on this thread.

Falkirk on 202 last in Chestnut Antique. You already have one person confirmed.

I am quite fond of them as well. I need a few months to recover from my recent bender and then will throw them out and see if we get 6

    Yes, please.

How about a wingtip derby like the Sandringham or the Harrogate. How about that chukka we almost had going?

I'm currently trying to figure out what's next. This certainly is one option, I should know by the time your ready, I might just join you. What sole would you go for, Dainite?

Yes. I think so. I like the darker edge trim like on the pic. I believe this is mole suede but with natural edge trim

I also like the darker trim as well and I tend to go for Dai tie whenever possible.

I have a Malvern in Mole. It's a good color. But I think there are better colors of suede for the Dover. Go for the dark edge trim, if you choose Mole.

I like the wingtip derby idea.

I will recommend in no particular order: coffee, tobacco, chestnut, mink, clove, mushroom even.

I think the dusty greenish cast of the mole does not look its best on the Dover. Just my opinion.

I prefer the harrogate over sandringham by a wide margin. I think it has cleaner lines and I don't like that thistle design element of the sandringham

That's what's stopping me from buying sandrigham.

As far as mole suede goes I find that color very weird. I do not know how to explain it. It is just underwhelming.

I might like to see what coffee and mink look like.

If it's MTO, you can order it without the thistle. I just placed an order for one through Skoak, and they didn't mention any problems with this request.
