1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I found this curious as well. Frankly, any of the models being discussed in various smooth calf offerings would be just as desirable (perhaps more so) to me: edwardian, chestnut, hazel, burnt pine.

Could you good peeps school me quickly on the different Chukka models that EG presently offers, and what the differences between them might be? TIA.

I believe so, yes. I believe the color is Dark Oak Willow. At least that's what I have seen.

Banbury is traditional chukka usually made on 202 last.

Silverstone is similar to G&G Arran. Silverstone has unlined upper shaft.

What's on your wish list? I could go for Dover too or chukka.

I think the Branbury would look excellent in Willow as I think the bit more rounded chukka would work better than something like the Warwick

We filled the five spots for the Brown Willow. But there will be a waiting list, please e-mail us if you want to be on that list.

Now, let's get back to Brandy Willow. What are we trying to figure out? We have three strong candidates right?

    1. Dover on the 606
    2. Nevis on the 202
    3. Galway on the 202

...any more strong candidates were multiple people have expressed interest?

Can we have a vote or something, anyone knows how to do one of those poll things? :embar:

I don't plan to be part of this order, but that would be a very nice shoe.

    Something similar is here:

Agreed. I am going the MTO route for it if there is not enough interested parties.

perhaps create a google doc with the proposed makeups and have people vote on them. first one to reach a threshold goes through?

What stops people who aren't buying from voting, though?
