It was even more red with the flash. But they are a very rich deep brown in person. Love the color

^^^ Yeah - I know - but my pics were taken outdoors in ample natural light and they still turned out more red looking in the pics than what I was seeing in real life.

I almost get the feeling like they wouldn't need trees. Leather stands up on it's own. These boots are awesome thanks to the guys at skoak......an amazing transaction from start to finish. Also thanks to all the guys who helped put this together.

Thanks for the comparison shots. Makes it look like frankensteins boot next to the 82 galways. Thankfully I don't go spelunking or swimming in my shoes or I probably won't ever need to buy the 64 last for the waterproof construction or shearling. Grats though.

Nice photos. The comparison snaps are interesting. I am amazed how red Heather Gorse comes through in your photos and those posted by others. In person, they are a stellar shade of mottled cocoa brown with a noticeable but less pronounced red cast.

I agree; Leaves at Skoaktiebolaget really delivered the goods! I look forward to additional photos from others. Cheers.

It is a very odd visual effect, the zugs don't appear as red to me until I place them next to doak galways.

Don't have them yet, but I would have to agree.

Thanks again @Leaves , @skm, and anyone else responsible for getting the ball rolling on this boot.

@ddd may the wind be at your back, and a strong tail wind deliver your zugs from across the pond. My hands were literally shaking opening the box.....I am still smiling.

@bespoken pa thank you sir. I shouldn't think that it will be too long now. However as with many other shoes or boots, the wait is not as nearly as long as the actual time that I will own and use them. I've been enjoying every minute of it since the day we ordered them. It certainly looks like I had a good reason too.

I'm smiling now as well, but not nearly as much as I will be once I get them.

8/10, huh? How do you think it could be better? They look great, Ryden. They pair really well with those pants ;)

Thanks. I thought you would dig the bespoke nike warmups.

I only tried them on quickly so not a full fit assessment yet. But they could probably be a touch longer and a smidgen wider. But going to wear them Wednesday for a better sense

This was your first pair of Galways correct?

    Here's hopping they fit.
