Thanks Burton - which one were you referring to?
i guess the ranell story. you really know how to write about shoes...
The one on the Ranell - which is a very nice shoe as well.
20% of sale for Farringdon in rare sizes. Just picked up a pair. (They have a few other models too.)
nice. you had me exited for a minute when you mentioned "rare sizes" i thought 8.5,9,9.5 were common
So awesome, enjoy them man!
Dover + single sole...hmm
I would say that is not a good combination.
I'm not entirely sold on single sole Dover either (although it's still a pretty shoe). HAF suits the model very well IMO
make that 3 - haf or double sole look better on the Dover
For each to their own, it's all a matter of personal preference. Some prefer the more robust look of the Dover on HAF soles and other's the sleeker look of the Dover or Ecton on the single sole.
I personally love the Dover on a single sole, so much so that all future Ecton's or Dover's I order shall feature a single sole.
If anyone is interested in Oban, Westwood and or Keeble in 8.5E, PM me.
skip the HAF. stick with the double and you're set. no regrets.
US or UK size?
