1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I stand corrected. They look good! The 202 is the last I prefer on this shoe, regardless of leather chosen.

The toe of the sole does look quite round for the 606. I can see why you thought that, smoothie.

Mahogany on the 202, smoothie! Get some!

I made a complete typographical error. I prefer the 606 in all things Dover related. Sorry to get your hopes up @tifosi ; I will not be partaking a 202 Dover.

I do like how the pebble smoothens out towards the toe/heel area.

I think seeing these has just convinced me to go for the Rosewood, no-shearling, Veldt Galway.

This is inevitable due to the stretching of the leather.

Yep...and it just looks so good!

In Rosewood CC? I will probably get an Alderlry, too, but I am thinking smooth calf.

I was considering it, too, but I'm not sure what kind of boot I want to end up with. I like the smooth calf with the storm welt that Stevent has. I think it would look great in burgundy. Not sure if I would want the "ruggedness" of the CC on the wingtip...dunno. Unipairs CC Alderley looks awesome, though! Decisions!
