I would personally go with DOAK Dover.

Yea I think I agree. I guess Patrik will return my email when he wakes up, haha. I originally asked if the stock shown of the 606 lasted dark oak in my size is correct, but I think I'm going to go 202. Looking at those two posted together really makes me like the 202 more. I really appreciate that hoodog. Although you did just cost me the MTO fee. Oh well.

Yup, haha. See above! I did email EG to see their stock as well. But I guess not an option.

I recommend seeing/ trying on the Dover in 202 and 606 in person. Part of the reason I say this is that based on the pictures posted, the 202 looks more attractive in comparison to the 606 to me too, which may have to do with color. Everything looks great in Dark Oak- that's just the way it is.

That is definitely true. I can see that the toe of the 606 is flat across the front and the 202 is round. I think that is what does it for me. Although I found some really nice pics of the dark oak on 606 online and they look fantastic. Sorry. I don't know who's pics these are.

Yup, thats always the best way to go. I totally agree.

I think it might be time for me to repost these pictures again, as a kind of consumer advice:

I have Dovers on the 606, 202, and 32. All are very nice lasts for this model, and they all offer unique qualities.

IMO, the quintessential Dover is Dark Oak on the 606 (which I happen to own). :D

In the current price list I have for EG, the Dover is offered (and possibly stocked) in three lasts: 606, 202, 32. I am not sure what the stock colors are for any, but I would guess Dark Oak could be one. If you were to order from Skoak, I am not sure a MTO upcharge would apply, though you would indeed have to wait either for the stock requisition from an EG store or a factory makeup.

    I hope this helps. Cheers.

That does help. I'll see what Patrik says in the morning (for him).

Does anyone own Edward Green cordovan (crup) shoes? I am interested in pictures and experience on the subject. Thanks. Cheers.
