1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

So the updated list of interested people in the Alderley GMTO in edwardian looks like this:

    - Me
    - FrankZ
    - @Steel28
    - @Flake
    - gusvs
    - @tdude
    - @aldenwear

So who of you are ready to make a full commitment? :stirpot:

Also, what's your preference between HAF or single leather soles? I'm happy to go either way…

    Cheers,
    SKM

Sorry, but I'm out. Was originally thinking of Whiskey shell and Dainite and just have too many shoes on order right now...

Schmallo, Renton, thank you both very much for your help. I appreciate it.

I wear an American "E" width. It sounds like I really need a UK "f" width on the last for this boot. I am afraid the standard UK E width simply is not going to work.

Take half a size bigger and you should be fine. That said, an F width could work for me but I doubt if the majority of the GMTO would agree...

Need to get a group of us UK F's together to see if we can find consensus (and a willing shoe maker) for an F GMTO.

The dark oak Dover is on the 888. I have tried it on.
The black Chelsea appears to be on the 888.
The dark brown suede Chelsea appears to be on the 82.

All of the above are good options, with the Dover being the most versatile, IMO.

Correct on both counts, I tired both models. Chelsea is in mocca suede color, very dark brown suede.
