    There are two versions of the "Falkirk", (just as there are an older and a newer version of the Chelsea) the older Falkirk does not have the laid-on facings along the throat and the top-line. Maybe they renamed the old version "Braemar". Judging by your photograph (showing the "window" in the lining), this shoe was manufactured after EG had left Oliver Street (mid 90s)

    Actually I discovered your photograph of the "Braemar". So you were RockJaw in a previous life and got banned.
    Now I understand the "AAAAARGH!!"

    I believe if you've ever placed an order direct from them, you're placed on it. Otherwise, I'm sure they're happy to place you on the mailing list if you just call one of their London stores.
