^^^ those are slammin'
I like these better - congrats!
We still have some sizes left for sale.
Waste of a good shoe! I don't think EG would take them back to recraft.
EG would probably take you off their customer list for sending them such an abomination
Different topic - does anyone have tips for fitting of 100 last eg Bamford? I fit well in most EG 11/11.5 but my instep is a bit high
Quoted GBP 920 by Jermyn St for The Nevis Boot. Have they had a price hike?
Wow, is that MTO? with VAT?
I seem to remeber Nevis on 606 in Mahogany Country Calf being a part of this year's Edward Green catalog? Anyways I might be interested Nevis too so if you want to pursue group MTO to avoid MTO fee let me know.
These are actually made for a fashion show, for some English clothing brand I don't remember the name of. But it is Edward Green who has made the finish themselves, so they most likely won't have any problems recrafting them or anything. They look like shit though, that's for sure.
A previous listing ( of the same shoes?) stated that they were used for a Hardy Amies show: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Edward-Gr...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
Yeah, thanks. Don't think it's the same pair though, the colors are listed as blue in the previous one and black in the new, and do look a bit different. The sticker on the sole seem to be in a bit different place as well. But they are certainly made for the same Hardy Amies-show.
No - MTO is +GBP150! Nevis is not available in Dark Oak, this would be MTO only, the Nevis is however available in Chestnut or Mahogany country calf. Too rich for my Blood (once again we are ruined by SF pricing). For that coin I will think about retail on a pair of Corthay or St C's.....
