I like that Edwards extends the discount to shoes that they don't have in stock, but will obtain from various makers to fulfill orders. :fonz:

for styles that is on the website, even though they may not have a certain size, they will order it from EG direct and apply the discount.

Sorry to hear that has since changed. At around this time last year, I was given the opportunity to order any stock EG shoe available from the factory in my size. And iirc, the discount was also applicable to MTO orders.

I remember reading some discussion in various threads (including, perhaps, this one) over the past six months or so about EG's shoe trees, and whether they are lasted or not, and so I thought that I'd cross-post the following post from the Australian Members' thread, in case any EG owners are interested.

So, in conclusion, EG certainly used to make shoe trees that were made for specific lasts, even for related lasts such as the 202 and 606 lasts. However, I don't know if that is still the case and it would be interesting to find out.

I have no need to, because I have several pairs of EG shoes, with lasted shoe trees!

However, there were some recent comments in the Australian Members' thread and elsewhere about how EG's shoe trees are not lasted, so I thought that I'd post the above photos and info to let people know that my EG shoe trees, at least, are made for specific lasts.

Anyone have experiences with the 184 last compare to other EG last such as 82, 606 or 888. Thinking of picking up a pair of the Piccadilly loafers from the EoM sale, not sure if I should size down half size.
