There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I have to agree Noonan, I had thought we were looking at the same make up as shown in the Unipair make up and in the Galway image shown. As I mentioned earlier in the thread I love that boot! I think that the green suede shown has a bit of a Jim Carrey as the riddler feel about it so if the intention is to proceed with that bright green suede upper then please count me out

Could I trouble you guys for help sizing the Galways, which will be my first pair of EG? Pretty standard US 11D, for example, in Alden take 10.5 on the Barrie & TruBalance, 11 on Copley/Aberdeen. RL Darltons 11, Sargent for Sid Mashburn & Peal 11. I'm guessing 10.5 for the EG 82 Galways? Thanks much!

I wear the same size as you in Alden and have found I am a 10.5E in all of my EG lasts, 202, 606, 82 and 888.

Artificial lighting I'm afraid but here are my Galways with olive cords, love these boots

Oh and angle makes the cuffs look huge, 2" only!

My least favourite thing about these boots are the laces!

It appears to me the green suede and olive calf might clash.

Olive Antique Calf and Loden Suede has been a stock RTW Galway model at various times recently. I have a pair, although as yet unworn, and they seem harmonious to my eye.

i actually love those laces. Trickers uses similar laces for their country boots. Soft enough to tie a nice bow and strong enough to strangle a puppy. Atleast imo, havent snapped yet

I'm what doctors refer to as ham fisted, I tend to over tighten laces, nuts, bolts, screws you name it! I'd rather my laces were leather or waxed, something resembling the leather of the shoe to contrast against the suede

What is the horror about broken laces I do not understand? just buy some more! EG makes the boots but does not manufacture laces.

Just joking around (and just re-watched Apocalypse Now). Have an order in with TZ Laces but it takes a couple weeks. I'll find something locally if I get EG withdrawals.

when you say you wear 10.5 in the 82 last, are you referring to your US or UK size?
