Agreed. Each one of those is very appealing.

    +1

Interesting how closely Nightshade and Dark Oak resemble each other in certain light.

I may be on board with the Olive Galway MTO. I have Galway 82s in dainite and double leather. I prefer the leather as it breaks in nicer for a more comfortable footbed.

Any chance on a sole change?

Sort of. You pay normal retail price for group MTO instead of the single MTO price inclusive of the MTO upcharge of 20 - 25%.

Is it 50% on order and 50% on completion or all up front? I've not ordered MTO before so I want to go in with my eyes open before I committ.

    My choice would be

    82 last
    Suede upper
    Leather sole
    Size uk 9E

Are shoe trees included with MTO?

With the olive green Galway boots you may also want to consider getting a matching belt!

    Hi Stevent

I like the exact make up of the Galway you're showing

Can you please let me know if I can participate? And also can someone please answer my question about deposit?

    Thanks

    • Anyone can join in the Group MTO, we ship worldwide. The price in USD for this boot is about $1050.
    • Trees are not included. I recommend Edward Green trees, these are 760 SEK ex VAT (about $110).
    • 50% upfront, 50% on completion.
    • Matching belt can be ordered in either Olive Green Calf or Green Suede for 1560 SEK ex VAT (about $230).
    • Delivery time is about 5-6 months.
    • Please e-mail sales@skoaktiebolaget.se stating your Styleforum nickname, e-mail address and UK size for the EG 82 last and we'll note your interest.

It has been a good week for me. I received my Shannon's on Thursday via Unipair

Then I received my long awaited MTO from Leather Soul (thank you Oki) the Southwold in burgundy antique on the 888--my favorite last.

If this is a Galway MTO for green on green, I am afraid I misunderstood. I would prefer to go with the green and suede combination but with the suede in brown as shown in the Galway photo supplied by StevenT.

Leaves, do you have any photos of a green/green combination you could share? I'm willing to be swayed, but the brown suede lends a wonderful country look to the boot and makes it compatible with a wider variety of trousers.

I have two other pairs of Galways (midnight blue and the classic dark oak) and a pair of antique burgundy Shannons showing up in a week or so. The olive Galways would truly round out the closet.

    Happy Holidays you shoemaniacs!
