I’m surprised to see the criticism of 82. I don’t have anything on 82 but have always admired the sleekness of it on Galways and oxfords.

72 is underrated for casual boots, 64 personally doesn't fit me anywhere near as well. Hoping to try 303 eventually.

303 fits me very similarly to 202, that is to say, essentially perfect. I have them on a pair of Newmarkets and they feel like EG Blundstones sometimes, which I really enjoy for a casual rugged chelsea boot.

All beautiful boots, nice combination of different colours and textures. I especially love the first pair.
About the 82 last, it's just my personal preference, but I think that those boots wouldn't be any less attractive on the 202 last.

The shape is just perfect. Makes me wonder if I made a mistake doing my MTO Galways in 82. I know EG are still doing 82 Galway makeups, but the slim almond toe just feels like a relic of 2010s menswear at this point.

I have three pairs of Galways on the 82 last and now wish I had them built on the 202 or 72 last. The 303 last wasn’t around when I ordered. I like the 82 last for shoes but find it seriously limits how often I wear my 82 last Galways. Having said that, an almond toed last is a classic of men’s footwear.

My sense is that the toe box is wider and a little deeper.

I've been considering one as well. I randomly found this post on IG, but I don't have any further details. And I think @Sutefan ran a GMTO at some point, but I haven't seen any pictures.

Should we considering a GMTO if there is enough interest?

Absolutely. An elegant staple that I'm quite happy to have in my collection..maybe not as awe inspiring as Galways in Cognac shell but a classic addition to any gent's business/formal wardrobe. 😁
