Yes, C&J call that Whiskey. I’m sure colours vary shell to shell. I only know of Whiskey , Bourbon, Cognac, Ravello ( unique to Alden I think), two or three shades of red and Burgundy/Colour No.8
Ok, thank you. I was just wondering what C&J labels their shell. I know that instead of "cigar" they have "dark brown". Instead of 8, I think they label it as Burgundy. So I was curious if they used Whiskey versus some other term. Thanks again.

I agree that’s the colours are very different. C&J tell me that they only do dark brown, whiskey and burgundy, which is not true as guys on SF have green and navy blue C&J shell cordovan too.

Has anyone done EG MTO recently? Any experiences to share?

I have fit issues at the toe, wondering if they can make an adjustment for that when making an MTO. But also interested to hear people's experiences in general.

They can do as long as it’s not too radical a change - certainly they can add a bit to the last to modify it.

Feels like it’s been a while since I posted over here in the high-rent district. Unlined Piccadilly’s on 184 got the call for today’s forecast of heavy rains…….

And the best seat in the house. Three things I’ll miss in a few months, some people, the cafeteria, and this view……

I am going to have an extensive yard sale. It will be a difficult but necessary paring. Other than boots, I pretty know what I’m moving. Just have to figure out an efficient way of creating the eBay/SF listings.

We're basically the same size, so please shoot me a DM with what you're looking to offload. Maybe I can save you some of the hassle of creating listings 😜

oh, sign me up!

unsolicited advice, but: I believe if you simply posted a list of the items for sale on the Alden and EG BST threads and then followed up with photos for the ones with interested buyers that should be enough to get some of them sold quickly.

it seems you already have a pack of followers here who wear the same size (myself included) :)

Just got these back from refurbishment, very nice job and ready for another ten years of service. However, notice the patches in front of the laces. Haven't seen that before, guess they were added due to creasing leather, though I wasn't asked about it. It's extremely neatly done though, also considering the colouring of the skin. In fact, it took me a couple of days to notice 😅
