the burnishing on these looks so good!
Cheers! The only new pair of EG I've bought recently are those Grey CC Galways I posted above and those have basically zero burnishing. I wonder if they are doing less these days 🤷‍♂️. Anyone else get a new pair recently have any comment?

Yes, I have had a few pairs over last two years and I agree that EG are doing far less hand finishing (polishing/burnishing) than they once did. But their prices have increased less than inflation so I guess something has got to give.

Thanks to one pair taking a very long time, two pairs of Dovers have arrived on my doorstep recently:

November’s pair has very little burnishing. For whatever reason September’s pair has more.
