Is the second pair the one you ordered in 303? What's your impression so far?Couple Galways from this week View attachment 2082737 View attachment 2082739
Yeah, that's exactly it. I don't see much difference to 72 tbh. Maybe a little more narrower toe but still same volume 🤷♂️Is the second pair the one you ordered in 303? What's your impression so far?

Does anyone have photos of burgundy Utah? Especially Dovers...trying to get a better sense for the colour.
Are these rosewood country calf?
the burnishing on these looks so good!
Cheers! The only new pair of EG I've bought recently are those Grey CC Galways I posted above and those have basically zero burnishing. I wonder if they are doing less these days 🤷♂️. Anyone else get a new pair recently have any comment?the burnishing on these looks so good!
Yes, I have had a few pairs over last two years and I agree that EG are doing far less hand finishing (polishing/burnishing) than they once did. But their prices have increased less than inflation so I guess something has got to give.Cheers! Thanks to one pair taking a very long time, two pairs of Dovers have arrived on my doorstep recently:
November 2023:
September 2023:
November’s pair has very little burnishing. For whatever reason September’s pair has more.
