GMTO: Montpellier in cognac crup (cordovan)

Gents, I'm thinking about the good old days, back when Skoak still carried EG and we did GMTOs all the time. Seems like forever ago. And I've been thinking about a specific idea for a GMTO: the Montpellier, unlined, in cognac crup (dark brown shell cordovan).

The Hand did a version in whiskey crup (a tan-ish shell cordovan) a while ago, and they got excited about my idea above and have kindly offered to do a mini-GMTO if there's enough interest. Would anyone consider joining?

Then I'll get back with full specs, photos etc.

Cheers,
SKM

Allow me to clarify. I was in the store and when I enquired into the Galways, they gave me a 9.5UK in 82 and after reviewing the touching sides (no gap), they concluded that I will not fit any other Galway, neither in size nor last. I left the store happy at first (lack of pushy sales tactics) but now in hindsight I am puzzled as to why they didn't offer me alternatives. My question here is therefore what I should do as I do like a Galway in Utah as an upgrade to my SoH Field Boot in Utah.
I’m happy with touching facings and I don’t care what EG say. They do have a reputation for constraining customers down a tight fit route. It’s one reason I don’t go to the shop but order by phone or email. As others have said there are several lasts the Galway is made on, more you can ask for as a made to order and it’s up to you what fit you prefer.

Does anyone know if there is a document or spreadsheet that compares the various EG lasts? I've searched SF and the EG site and I haven't been able to find it.

Of course, as soon as I post this, I found the page on the Edward Green site.

What would be the Edward Green last with the widest ball of foot measurement but with a tight/narrow/snug heel?

I thought I read that 202/303 might be the widest, but I’ve seen other statements online that all their lasts are similar in width. And I found the 202’s heel to be uncomfortably wide. Does such a last exist?

72 maybe? I find it roomier in terms of width and volume than 202, despite being 0.5 size smaller. But it doesn't feel much different in the heel to 202. Not EG, but C&J 378 describes that last perfectly for me "wide at the ball of the foot, tight secure heel".
