Pretty sure this pic is the same make-up, although if I recall correctly the pair at the sale had a double leather sole instead.

I don't get to order alligator very often but these turned out great. The maple is amazing as well.

How much does an alligator MTO go for?

Also, I think that's a nice choice for it. Simple design to let the leather do the talking.

Ah, thanks for the pic! I was picturing tobacco being a lot darker for some reason.

Between $6500-7500 for alligator. I think a lot depends on the currency conversion as well as how many shoes are in the shipment. I piggy-backed on a order so I didn't have to pay a ton for shipping. I got a 10% discount

That's a very generous offer. Hope you find yourself something nice. I'd be curious to hear if there is anything good in a size 11.5/12E . Thanks.

The downside for SC is their funky designs that belong neither to English, Italian, nor Austro-Hungarian styles.

You're absolutely right. The upside, though, is that they are flexible to change design upon request (at a surcharge of course). One interesting thing: I spoke to Ethan of the Armoury a couple of weeks ago. Apparently they are having Koji Suzuki designing shoes for StC (a few of them already have appeared on the Armoury's blog) :slayer: Best of two worlds!
