I have other 187 EG. Tight al first, low vamp. Similar to Carmina in fit. After use very confortable.

That's good to know because I do have a low instep and was looking into tassel loafers that would not slip off.

I have loafers from EG, Alden, JL, CJ, Carmina…
My vote for most comfortable would have to be Alden. My feet suck with loafers but I just love loafers. Nothing fits me as comfortably as Alden but even Alden is not perfect. The only issue I have with Alden is heel slip but I fix it with a Pedag half insole (it is called holiday). Afterwards, perfection.

I have too Carmina, CJ, Alden,...
Alden and CJ are wide in standard width and EG/Carmina standard width are perfect for my thin foot.
If you have thin foot better Carmina or EG. If you have wide foot better Alden or CJ. Always in standard width and my personal experience.
About quality EG are better than Alden, CJ, Carmina,... No discution about it.
