nephew, enjoy wearing your nst
Thank you! I'm looking forward to it!
remember the break in method
Nice stuff. PS. Mr. Porter has Lobb Rubber Overshoes on sale at 50%. They still have our size: http://www.mrporter.com/product/301186 I bought myself a pair of black yesterday. Now they only have brown left (our size)
Is that for calf as well as shell?
works very well for both calf and shell
Thanks for the head's up!
I do have a preference for the cheaper Tingleys because they cover almost the whole surface area of my shoes (vamp is much higher). Without the lining the rubber does make me have to brush my shoes afterwards but that's no big deal.
+1 Gerry's photography always puts the shoes in the best light....pun intended. It was his shots of the Lindricks that put me over the top in getting a pair.
tingley provides the best protection for your foot ware
No, I'm sure picture is right. I phoned Jermyn Street to ask if they had a pair of Malvern in dark brown (think dark oak) as I have a pair in chestnut and was told yes; paid on CC and went to collect - got home to find burnt pine. Phoned shop back and was asked what made me think they were burnt pine? - probably because (a) they are neither chestnut or dark oak (which I have) and (b) the box says burnt pine! Suspect from earlier posts that I'm not the only one caught! However, shoes are good, and won't complain given the price, but do think the assistants might know more about their stock.
In reply to post 3711!
For those who are able to regularly visit the Jermyn St. store, do they normally carry the Beaulieu? Can't afford it right now but I hope to purchase a pair maybe next year... if you guys notice it, what colors are typically carried?
was there maybe 3 weeks ago, they didn't have it
Thanks for the info. Did they stop carrying them? I thought they're stock shoes... Would be sad if I had to go the MTO route for them.
