4E4883A6-D998-4D19-A9FB-939C2FB0DF2F.jpeg So I was in toronto downtown Royal Bank Plaza brooks brothers, this store still had their full stock of Edward greens (only top 2 rows in picture), everything is still being sold for full MSRP here up north, I thought all the American stocks were consolidated and liquidated but not here in Canada apparently you can still get Edward Greens from this Brooks Brothers location. Wonder if they will let me use the 40% off coupon brooks brothers hands out once a year, I recall the SA didn’t let ppl do it before, but now that Edward Green has been dropped maybe they will....

I haven't gotten the 40% off coupon yet, usually get 1 for mens item, 1 for ladies item, its sent out at different times each year. plus its restricted to use in Canadian stores. I'm guessing US coupons are restricted for use in US stores. Will show up at the BB store to ask them personally when the time comes, want to be shot down close and personal.

wow, I was just in town and didn't bother going to that BB assuming the one on bloor was their flagship and had more selection. The BB on bloor only has cheaper Italian made shoes.

RBC plaza is on Bay street where all the Big Baller Bankers :) are located.
This RBC Brooks Brothers had the full Peal/Crockett Jones Range as well, including all the Cordovan boots, blutchers and loafers..

Just ordered a pair of Portland’s, and was wondering if there is any use in using shoe trees?

I have 3 pair and I do not tree them. They’re one step up from a house slipper.

Does anyone have pictures of how nightshade ages ? Does it become more purple vs more burgundy ? Wondering if the color is formal enough ..

I wonder if anyone has any advice.
I know that edward green colors their brown shoes after they have been made.
I bought a pair of "butterfly" loafers on eBay.
Unfortunately a portion of the shoe under one of the wings is clearly a lighter color than the rest.
When I wear the shoes, this area can be seen.

I could ignore it, polish the lighter area with a darker polish, or try to dye the lighter area.
    Does anyone have any thoughts?
