Maiden voyage in the rain. Perfect for the purpose of the boots.

So this is awkward. Took my new EGs on their maiden voyage yesterday. Unfortunately when i took them off this happened (see below). It looks like the top layer of the inside of the shoe is not secured properly and has lifted up at the end it really is a minor thing since it flattens out when i put thw shoe on, but I'm not sure if it is the kind of thing that might get worse with more wear. Am I overthink things here or should i notify the vendor and see if it can be fixed/replaced?

Glue it back down using shoe glue, or any super glue

Your local cobbler can glue this correctly. This is a quick one I think - I would try this instead of sending them back in.

That's just the sock liner curling up a bit. Nothing to worry about. Just have it glued back by your cobbler.

And now, for something slightly different from shoe-Appreciation, DISCUSS.

Feel free to take it in any direction (last, styling, comfort, durability, value, etc).

1. Vass Budapester F last in Bordeaux Museum Calf
2. Edward Green Chelsea 202C Last in Black
3. Anthony Cleverley Bodie in Black
4. Gaziano & Girling Rothschild DG 70 Last in Vintage Oak
