1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I couldn't find what exactly a "fudge welt" is - could someone enlighten me? I'm also keen to hear why it is or may-be better? I suspect it is what looks like the tiny bead of leather running just between the uppers and the sole, but not sure...

I think it is also described as a storm welt - I have a C&J Coniston with this construction. Supposedly it is harder for water to penetrate into the uppers of the shoe.

And anybody know if they were enforcing a limit on how many pairs a person could purchase?

Dave Smith looks very pensive. I wonder if a fight broke out one minute after that pic was taken!

That queue looks like a bunch of proxies for SF members.

They are and I want them. We shall see.

He has the same on 10.5UK but those are 11UK. My EG 10.5 Westminster on E888 fit like a glove. How does the 202 compare? He lists it as narrow and it's a half size bigger than my EGs..
