Dover owners- question for you. If any of you have both a light suede colour dover (tobacco, snuff, others I'm missing) and a light calf colour (Edwardian*, chestnut, almond cc), do you find yourself more frequently wearing the calf or suede? I recently placed an order for my first pair of EG's and already planning a second

In my opinion it depends on your wardrobe, application, and personal style. Personally I tend to favor the suede variants as the matte finish helps to soften the striking contrast of light browns. That said, I have and wear both for different occasions.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm overall pretty casual with mostly chinos during the week but plan on adding some proper trousers over the next year or so. I'd love to find a snuff suede pair but the second hand market is limited with anything 10.5 or 11. Again, appreciate the insight :fonz:

Hi Dear Edward Green friends and fellows,

I came across a pair of boots. The insole is written as "Esquire by Edward green". Is it really EG?

    Thanks

The nail pattern is EG style. So, could be.

I am no expert but as far as I know Edward Green has always handwritten the last, size, serial number in the shoes. These appear to have the aforementioned details machine printed in them. The codes also don't resemble anything similar to the ones one can expect to find in an E.G. shoe.
