Where did you buy the shell EG duke loafers?
From Gentleman's Footwear. What makes you ask?
I have a question to ask.
Anyone who has had any experience with the Utah leather shoes or boots for a while now please can they let me know if this leather is as resilient as the grained country calf or any of the other leathers EG use on their shoes or boots?
The reason I ask is because today I have worn my Galway boots for the first time and "Oh my God" they feel so soft I have not had this feeling before with any of the EG shoes or boots!
I love the leather but lets hope it hold up as well!
Edward Green makes great belts, and you can order one to match your shoe leather.
Don't have an exact price on a cord belt, but we could inquire if interested.
I already checked in with EG. Best they can do is a calfskin belt to be a close match. I'm going to try the Carmina bourbon shell belt.
I think Vass will do belts in shell.
Leffot has those Kreis Bleecker belts in a really nice bourbon shell.
I saw those. Have you seen the Carmina ones in person? I need to get a snuff suede Carmina belt anyway for some loafers I have on order so I figured I'd try their bourbon shell, but I don't have any first hand experience with their belts.
I have not seen the Carmina ones in person, just judging by pictures the Bleecker belt looks like it would match your Dukes a lot better. The 3 pieces construction seems interesting....
Casual Dover Day
Still one of my favorite Dover make ups. Steve nailed it with them.
They're a nice, basic, option. Steve is the man, but I got mine a year or two ago from LF. I have an MTO Dover in the works that I think is a real game changer.
