    Thanks. I've never personally been a fan of traditional patent leather shoes, and the thought of buying a pair shoes just for wearing with my tux seems a little silly at this point in my life. I've considered getting a pair of black Corthay Arcas as I thought they might look better with a tux than my EG's but not sure if they would actually be an improvement.

    Thanks. Thats what I've done up till this point. Probably will stick with that plan

    @MrVenneri wow, really nice photo! I might need to copy that combo; the Inverness isn't featured enough around here. Also, beautiful shine, any advice on your shoe care routine?

    Thank you gentlemen. These are just your standard issue burgundy calf Inverness.

    Honestly JR I only condition every once in awhile with Bick 4 and brush before and after every use...Nothing too fancy or obsessive. For the toe portion I just tried out Saphir's new 'mirror shine' wax and it's pretty impressive stuff. The toe shine only took a couple coats and about 15 minutes of time. I would recommend it for $20.
