    Don't they still do?

I've never seen the appeal of horsebit loafers, though, especially since the Gucci versions are so repulsive. Flashy, blingy and offputting in their inelegance.

It looks like an item for sale on eBay, or from a store. This style may not be shown in the latest catalog, and it may not be something normally stocked, but it certainly can be purchased as a MTO shoe.

Unlike some other forum members, I enjoy a bit loafer. It's a casual style, but there is a time and place for nearly everything. However, I am less than fond of the above black pair with gold hardware. Cheers.

I am looking for thoughts on the 184 last (a last I do not have) - e.g., short/long, snug, TTS, etc.

I am considering the Belgravia loafer in a D width.

    Thanks in advance.

I completely disagree. The Gucci version is the real deal and, when worn with a properly aged pair of khakis and tweed jacket, look fantastic. The EG version are too big, too clunky and, suprisingly, too flashy.

Plenty of beautiful shoes in this thread!
I've been eyeing the Chelsea 202 black cap toe oxford for a while. It's quite likely that a pair will be contained in my luggage once I return from a trip to London later this month:)

Hi guys, hope you guys can help me out. If I am a size 6FUK on AS109 and 6EUK (just a touch tight) on CJ337, what should I get in 82,888 and 808? I am eyeing a pair of Walcott in Edwardian[IMG].

I half agree with you, and half don't. I bet the EGs would look way better worn than they do in that photo. They're kind of insane there, but I under a hem they might work. I do agree with you that good moccasin-style bit loafers are really excellent, and people who reject them out of hand confuse me as much as people who eschew tassels.
