It's a blessing they don't have the Galways in UK8.

How are people on the fence about the Westminster in Bauxite? I'd be so happy to own that. If it was in 10.5, I WOULD own that.

Got a chance to go to Jermyn Street today, they did have shoes in all sizes but not crowded; they did have a lot more shoes in suede compared to previous sales and only a small bunch of socks. In previous sales, I have normally gone in the first few days rather then a week later, which may explain the difference.

I purchased the Ladbroke in black calf, the insole read 'Edward Green for Sir Wilson Torino'; did a search on the company and found they also stock Church's and Sutor Mantellassi. This is the first time I have seen branded shoes at the Jermyn Street store.

The EG London shop sent me this photo and say that this is Dark Oak.
Is it from an odd "dye lot" or something? The color looks way more like Burnt Pine to me.

I am used to Dark Oak looking more like this:

Obviously I don't think the London shop is lying..but is this shoe just made with a much lighter hide? Or is it the lighting?
Do Dark Oak shoes just darken with age and polishing?

Does not appear to be remotely close to Dark Oak...

Yep, I agree that they look way too light...but I doubt the London store would tell me the wrong color. They don't even stock this shoe in any colors other than black and dark oak.
Am I to conclude that this is from a weird batch of dark oak hides? Or is the photo just really, really off?

It may be the pair was on display and lost some color due to sun bleaching. I agree with the consensus that the color shown does not appear to be the traditional dark oak color and burnishing.

Has the London shop started taking e-mail orders for sale shoes again (and shipping abroad)?

I just took delivery of a pair of Chelsea 82's in Dark Oak Antique.

They were very light in colour. I was shocked. I have been darkening them furiously after each wear with black Saphir shoe cream.

Is the Sandringham on the 202 last? Can anyone provide a fit guidance to a C&J 348/341 last, on which I wear a UK 5.5E..
Also, which last is the Cowes made from?

    Thanks.

My understanding is that Unipair have a new batch of EGs coming in July - gotta make room for the new inventory, I am guessing.
