    If I got Shannons I'd probably have them in shell, and I prefer agatine eyelets on shell.

    I personally prefer the Shannons with blind, but it's a matter of taste.

    Does anyone know how EG's country calf leathers map onto their regular calf colors? In other words, is there a country calf version of chestnut? Or something similar to dark oak?

    And this is why we miss you so!

    Thanks! These are the from the Hardy Amies collaboration and the shaft color is cloud. It adds something that would otherwise be an unremarkable black half-brogue.

    Three bal boots with and three without (well, one is flying to me across the pond as we speak)... I like both versions!

    I looked in a EG swatch yesterday and from that i think walnut country calf is the grain version of dark oak. Chestnut i don´t remember beacuse we did talk about that.

    Rosewood=Chestnut(ish)
    Mahoganny= Dark burnt pine(ish)?
    Walnut=Dark oak(ish)

    Big thanks, Crat. Tha't's a great photo.

    When you say bad lighting, do you mean the small spots with glare, or are the colors on the picture slightly off as well?

    I meant the glare; the colours are fairly accurate for an indoor picture with arificial light. I prefer natural light though.

    Aportnoy = the EG king. Those Shannon's he posted don't look like they have ever been worn (both pairs).

    What do you guys think of these? They are called Paultons, Edward Green for Ralph Lauren. The style is basically a modified Pimlico in hazel calf and white suede. Are they ridiculous throwbacks or contemporary summer cool? Thoughts?

    Cool to look at , as long as they aren't on my feet. That's not to say others couldn't pull them off, I just don't see it fitting in to my understated elegance wardrobe.

    Hey guys, I posted in the classifieds. I was told a 9.5E would fit me in the 888 last but unfortunately too big. I have a pair of the westminsters in dark oak that are BNIB. They are too large and I paid close to $700. If anyone wants or wants to trade please pm me.
