This morning's maiden voyage for a pair of Holborns, Hazel Antique, 888 last. Purchased last month (part of the clearance sale) from Bryan at Leather Soul.

Burgundy. Just a tad bit here and there. A good brushing usually brings the luster back up without gratuitous use of polish. Storing your shoes in their boxes on trees will help in this regard.

It would probably be easier if you started off with an idea of what you wanted your shoes to look like in the end, and find the appropriate customization options that will get you there, rather than figure out what are you options and then design a boot from those possibilities.

Of course and i already know that but i´m missing the last details, like lining color.

    The boot i´m buing is:

    Galway
    Dark Oak (including upper)
    Last 82
    Double dainite
Normal welt (is it called flat welt?)
Speedhooks (don´t know if there is any options here regarding size and color)
Open eylets (don´t know if it´s called that and don´t know the color options)

You mean blind eyelets (with no rings in them)?
IMO blind eyelets look great on formal (oxford) boots like the shannon but not so much on a derby boot like the galway.
I also don't like the combination of blind eyelets with speedhooks.

    just my 2ct.

Besides blind, there's agatine and matched agatine. Agatine is just untreated brass (or, on rare occasions, painted some contrasting color). Matched agatine is when the metal is painted to a color that closely matches the leather.
