    My experience has been that their service can be very inconsistent. Like some said here, they received very responsive service. I have had that experience too. But I have also encountered instances where EG was very unresponsive over email - nothing from them over 2 weeks.

    Wow -Edward Green just tweeted a link to my blog post on the evolution of the EG lasts and called it "a fascinating read" - Maybe I should ask them for models on the 88, 808, and 606 lasts to help complete the picture :)

    Nope!

    Those boots were made for Asprey (presumably to Asprey's design), maybe eight years ago. According to Tony G who worked for EG at the time, they were supposed to be made in shell, but then Asprey baulked at the cost, so they were produced in some shell-imitation calf.

    Next time I wear them I'll take a pic. I think they look great with "office pants". Here are some pics of my Cadogan MTO's I just received. Have one more pair I should be getting in a week or two.
