1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

They are red Dianite soles and they look spectacular. Certainly one of the more fun EG shoes around.

If the vendor steps in, you may have more success getting the last you want.

Leaves from Skoat.... reached out to EG and they told him they wouldn't do it on another last. Do you think that we could push harder? Seems nonsensical policy-wise.

Given the bulkiness of the shearling leg, you'd probably need a bulkier last to make the pattern work...

I'd rather it was in the 82 Last myself as well. However then again I could do without the Shearling also.

Please let me know what you have decided to do.

I just got my westminsters on the 888 last. I had originally gone with the 9.5UK and they were too big so now I got the 9UK and they feel comfortable but still having heel slippage on just one foot. I guess once they break in a bit they will be better.

My main concern is that will they stretch because they feel comfortable now but if they stretch it might be too much.

I think this is the way with EG MTO these days. Leathersoul intimated the same thing, that's why I went with St Crispins for my RMCH shoe.

I've not noticed much stretching so hopefully that won't be an issue.

So I wore them on the tile in my house ready to leave and had to switch my shoes.

    Grrrrr

Needless to say if anyone wants to buy a pair of Westminsters on the 888 last in dark oak pm me.

your are just paranoid. Just use an insert on the offending foot to take up the volume.

I think JK meant that the shoes were too tight, no?

I know I am but I would hate to do that and wear them and they not work.

Dr they fit well through the foot but just slip out when I walk.

And I'm not trying to rip anyone off. I bought em when Edwards of Manchester had their sale and paid $700 so I just want that back.

They have repriced their EG's and they include shoe trees in the total price.

I wish they would mention which last the shoes are on, in the description on the product write-up.

Getting my burgundy Inverness soon in addition to a couple of shoe trees; C&J Weymouth are keeping them company on the flight.
