If I wear a UK6.5 C&J Belgrave (on the 337 last) and also UK6.5 in Meermin's Ama last, will the EG Chelsea on the 202, size 6.5/7 fit me? I know it depends a lot on other factors, but I'd just like to roughly know if they'll be too tight.

There is a very decent chance they will be too tight, IMO. A 7/7.5 would be a safer bet.

you guys are missing the beauty of the single monk (in Burgundy) in the back

Unfortunately I was told by EG that they only offer them as MTO and hence £200 pounds more expensive than the RTW price- even though there is nothing different about them finishing wise. It seems they see it as too flashy to offer as a RTW. I think they are very wrong, but to no avail it seems

I would also say 7/7.5. I wear UK 6 on the comparison brands you mentioned and I'm consistently 6.5/7 with EG (with the E82 being close to perfect fit).

Thanks guys. I'm still not sure though, reason being this - I had a pair of really old EGs that were marked 7F on the 202 last that I bought off eBay. These turned out to be too big all around. I could put a finger (maybe even two, can't remember anymore) behind my heel with the shoe on.

Maybe it's just the wide fitting (F)? It still seemed too big lengthwise. This is why I was thinking a 6.5/7 would fit me just right. Or could it be that the leather of the 7F pair just stretch out over the many years?

There's this pair on B&S right now that I think is an excellent deal, but if it doesn't fit...
