I've learned a lot on here about a number of things that I might not otherwise have known about. In between a lot of general conversation there have been some truly informative posts that have either provided an expanded understanding or perspective of a topic that I wasn't well versed on, or a provided information about a topic that I didn't know anything about at all. The trouble is keeping track of some of these. ITT: provide links to single posts that provided you with new knowledge or perspective. Manton explains the role and reasoning behind the policy of the United States military Stephenhero explains how we arrived at modern architecture AF's What I've Learned in Business So Far CE explains pegged currencies

There was a thread about pegged currencies in CE that I found very informative. Also, countless posts from JLib and why about language and history.

i can't help but notice the irony of the SF educated being unable to spell 'education' in the thread title.

Under normal circumstances I would change that, but, you know...somehow it seems sorta apt.

PS - Fran's business lesson thread has been a forum high point for me, seriously.
