well it has 2.5" to let out, and supposedly that's where it needs to be repaired anyways, I think the measurements more closely correspond to a 42-43L in any case.

No, you need to leave some fabric for the hem. And trousers that are an inch too short won't look nice unless you're going for the Thom Browne look. That said, these are probably the nicest bespoke trousers you will find short of ordering a pair from Chris Despos, who is probably one of the best tailors in the country from what I hear.

I purchased a beautiful 150s Sciammera suit from him at about 25 percent of what I'd pay at Saks. Would buy from him again. But the site layout - yuck.

The workmanship on those looks outstanding! But I wish the owner had eaten a few less cheeseburgers, 43 waist and 31 inseam

Fabric looks like its VBC. This line is a little bit of an exageration though:
"To have trousers like this made for you today would cost in the neighborhood of $1000"

Two interesting coats: For the wee ones: Hermes nylon/shearling coat size 46EU. I've seen this coat model (not the particular one for sale) and it almost looked worth the $4100 or whatever it cost. Never thought I'd say that about a plastic coat, but it's true. (I guess it is two coats in one.) For the giants among us: Jil Sander shearling 56 EU. If only it were a size smaller and two grand cheaper...

Yup, I know it's been there a while but $350 is a great price for a Baldessarini suit, which are very good quality and have been discontinued IIRC so there are good deals on some of their stuff. Also, everyone needs at least one tan/olive cotton suit for summer. Not unlike linen, creasing is part of the natural charm of the fabric.
