RLPL lapels have gotten really small lately. You're right to be wary about sizing, though. I'm generally a 40R, and RLPL 40R is a good trim fit but it's just a hair away from being too tight.

ED: If this is the jacket I tried on at the mansion store in Highland Park last winter, and I believe it is, then it's worth noting the hand of the fabric. Even though it looks like a rough tweed, it's actually very soft and flannel-y.
